Free Rough Estimate
Another service our company provides along with 203(k) consultation is a Free Rough Estimate of the construction costs according to the current condition of the property. To receive this service, all you have to do is provide us with the below required photos.
Pictures you should take:
Front of house
Take pictures of the front of the house.
Livingroom, dining room, kitchen
Stand back and take pictures of the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Take the picture straight through to the other side then take another picture of the room looking from a different angle.
If the house had radiators, look for cracks and take pictures.
Back of the house
Back of the House/Outside
From the backyard, take pictures of the back of the house. Stand back all the way and try to capture the entire back of the house. Try to capture the siding, windows, electrical line, and anything else that is in the back.
Take a picture of the electric and gas meters.
Take a picture of the air conditioning unit.
Basement
Take pictures of the electrical panel box, open and closed.
Take a picture of the hot water tank, try to determine if it is hooked into a gas line.
Take a picture of the water meter.
Take a picture of the furnace.
Take a picture of the stairs and railing.
Check to see if the heat/air conditioning is on.
Bedrooms
For each bedroom, stand in the doorway and take a picture of the entire room. Walk to the other side, and take a picture showing the door.
If the house had radiators, look for cracks and take pictures.
Right & left side of the street
Take pictures from the street, both right & left views, so we can see the neighbors’ houses.
Found a Leak?
Anywhere you see a leak, stand back (don’t take a close-up) and take pictures of where the leak is in relation to the rest of the room (ceiling, wall, floor, etc.)
Backyard view
From the backyard take pictures of the neighboring houses on the left and right.
Bathrooms
Take a picture of the entire bathroom.
Include pictures of the vanity cabinet, open and closed, as well as the plumbing underneath the vanity.
Take a picture of the toilet.
Take a picture of the bathtub/shower.
If the house had radiators, look for cracks and take pictures.
Upstairs Hallway/Stairs
Take a picture of the hallway from the front of the house and another picture of the hallway from the back of the house.
Take a picture of the stairs and railings.
